After reading such great reviews on Minelab, I bought the 705 Xterra. I think it’s great for coin hunting. I have not had the chance to use it for gold detecting or on the beach but I will soon. It performs as well as advertised. I think it is a top notch unit for the good price.

I wanted a good metal detector that does it all. After months of research, I decided on X-terra 705. It is easy to use, its lightweight, and it uses less batteries than most. I have found coins, junk, no gold yet but I am hopeful. I recommend this detector and Kellyco to anyone who wants a serious detector. GOOD HUNTING & BE SAFE!
